Across Ireland and Europe, the beehive-shaped stone huts of the early
aesthetes are intriguing to see. The earliest sages knew the importance
of pollinators and emulated their sacred structures. The Poet Moon
is the Hunter Moon because the poet loves the wild energy of the
chase. The poet hunts for metaphors and captures them to display
and study and consume. The poet’s vision feeds our imaginations and
our souls just as the hunter’s arrow brings food for the tribe. Inside
the bee hut the poet contemplates the actions of man and the fate
of the planet. In the shaman’s role the Hunter Poet channels what’s
coming and, through art, presages events for protection of the clan.
